A Pfizer vaccine trial participant named Maddie volunteered for the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine trial and shortly found herself in a wheelchair, with an NG tube, and a host of other issues. Healthcare officials have yet to comment and note this has a direct connection to participating in the trial, but that statement or admission would be difficult for them, that would be counter to the current narrative that the COVID-19 vaccine is safe for many and that it will provide full protection.
Stories like this do not receive as much coverage but it should. At the very least, individuals should know that taking the vaccine is not a risk free bet. There are a variety of issues that could take place that could range from severe disability to death.
States, celebrities, employers, and everyone in between encourage individuals to get the vaccine. They might offer a lottery, they might offer free donuts, they may offer a $1,000. Whatever the case may be, the dominant narrative is to take it and to do so as quickly as possible. Finally, after you get it, you will also get another reward. Wow! You will be protected from the virus AND you will also obtain a reward just for getting the vaccine, sign me up, is what you might think.
But it is not risk free and issues that range from heart problems to death do also come after taking the experimental vaccine. The idea is to be fully informed about the risks and to make a decision with as much information as possible.
