According to recent reports, it looks like the current White House team and the CDC is leaning more toward a booster shot. The agency is noting that this booster shot will likely be necessary for all Americans after the White House team has seen startling evidence that the current vaccine may not be as effective against variants. Individuals will be encouraged to take this jab after 8 months following their second shot. This should, theoretically, allow for more protection against the virus.
The strong suggestion for the booster shot is supposed to surface this week. But reports indicate that the third doses would only roll out after the FDA fully approves the COVID-19 vaccine. Remember that it is EUA or Emergency Use Authorization and has yet to be fully approved by the FDA.
This recent news comes right after the booster shot was suggested for those that fall under the immunocompromised category, an increasing portion of those in the United States due to diabetes, and related matters.
“There is a concern that the vaccine may start to wane in its effectiveness,” Collins said. “And delta is a nasty one for us to try to deal with. The combination of those two means we may need boosters, maybe beginning first with health care providers, as well as people in nursing homes, and then gradually moving forward” with others, such as older Americans who were among the first to get vaccinations.
Of course, this potential for diminished efficacy is something that SentryHill has been reporting on for a while now. As this is what several doctors and even countries like Israel have been saying for some time now.
But it seems like that is not as embraced by the general media or even social media platforms. As a matter of fact, if you don’t stay in line with the prevailing narrative, you are censored.
Still, what is embraced is the idea of getting the vaccine and ensuring to protect yourself and others, because when you get this vaccine, you are not merely doing it for yourself, you are doing it for your community. Of course, even if you have the jab, you must still wear a mask. The rationale is that If you get the jab, you are less likely to have severe sickness and end up on an ICU bed.
At the same time, it is essential to note that the elderly, those with commodities like diabetes, obesity, and other factors are more likely to need more support when afflicted by COVID-19. According to the mighty and big brain scientists at CDC, “having obesity may triple the risk of hospitalization due to a COVID-19 infection”. Further, they go on to note that “obesity is linked to impaired immune function.”
While the current leadership will tell you to quickly run to go get the vaccination, it is quite telling that they are silent on other critical aspects.
They will not tell you to take care of yourself.
Take Care Of Yourself
The core aspects of obtaining sunlight, having the right levels of vitamin D, exercising regularly, and minimizing junk food intake are simple principles that no one talks about right now. A pandemic like COVID-19 becomes a problem when more individuals are sitting ducks due to obesity and other related matters.
If your body has to fight twice as hard to ward off a virus or if it is too busy working over time taking care of itself due to diabetes, obesity, and other related factors, it becomes a sitting duck for a virus. While one can’t deny that healthy, active, and disciplined people also suffered from COVID-19, they are more likely to bounce back. Indeed, taking care of yourself and taking the right vitamins and eating right can’t hurt.
But it is easy to quickly point to quick fix, go get the vaccination, a quick hit, and you will fine. Everything will be great if you go and get a series of jabs. Go back to your life and keep doing the same activities, practice the same habits, and keep consuming like before. Don’t make any sustainable changes, just get the jab.
That’s not the best advice, aim to focus on long term sustainability by improving your health each day.
